 text and printmaking to examine the relationship between families\, the LG
 BTQIA+ community in the South and the meaning behind identity as it affect
 s us on a personal level. They received their first camera at the age of f
 our and have not put it down since. In 2012\, Joi began their first long t
 erm project <em>Southern Faces</em>\, documenting the LGBTQIA+ Community i
 n Alabama\, and in 2020 they received the Media/Photography Fellowship fro
 m the Alabama State Council on the Arts.</p>\n<p>This program is exhibitio
