Join us for this fun\, casual program. Tog ether we will explore a new creative project with a guest artist each mont h. Registration is limited to 2SLGBTQ+-identifying people in the Waterloo Region. This month we will be exploring wet felting wool with Michael Rous e and Peter van Ryn. Come on out for fun and crafting with Michael and Pet er from woolwaterneedle. Make a bowl\, a vase\, a pumpkin\, a bird\, an eg g&mdash\;any 3D object you please&mdash\;out of wool\,using the creative a nd satisfying process of wet felting. This class is for beginners\, return ing students and experienced artisans. All materials are supplied.
\nAbout the instructors: Michael and Peter are excited to return to the Queer Craft Circle after great time last February demonstrat ing needle felting. They showcase their needle felted and wet felted wool creations through woolwaterneedle and are inspired by nature to create wor k that is decorative and allows viewers to bring their own narrative to a piece. Recently Peter has been focusing on felted paintings of farm buildi ngs of Southwestern Ontario. Michael is often in the studio creating custo m pet portraits in wool.
