 ila is a Kingston-based urban forager whose pandemic passion project was t
 o bring foraging education to her community. She grew up in Northern Ontar
 io\, where her family regularly foraged for blueberries\, hazelnuts\, wint
 ergreen and other wild foods. She has a certificate in Plant-Based Medicin
 e from Cornell University and a Master Naturalist certificate from Lakehea
 d University.</p>\n<p>KFPL will host eight foraging workshops between Apri
 l and November 2024. Registration opens a month before each session. With 
 short harvesting windows for forageable goods\, attending multiple worksho
