 us Youth Jazz (CYJ) Girls Project is a dynamic month-long ensemble celebra
 ting female and gender-expansive students in jazz. Led by saxophonist Merc
 edes Chomos and jazz vocalist Rachel Azbell\, the project offers an engagi
 ng space to explore jazz repertoire\, style\, and improvisation. Open to s
 tudents in grades 7-12 and collegiate music students\, it focuses on skill
  development\, confidence\, leadership\, and women in jazz history. This p
 roject is generously supported by PNC Arts Alive and AWS Community Builder

 ng></p>\n<p>The Capital University Jazz and World Music Festival is a cele
 bration of America&rsquo\;s musical art form. It features special guest ar
 tist clinics and performances by Capital's student ensembles\, culminating
