Five local musical ed ucators make up the quintet and include Karen Polak\, a retired teacher on trumpet\; John Diaz\, a retired teacher\, also on trumpet\; Dr. Jonathan Snyder\, a current UNLV music educator and Program Director for the Las Ve gas Youth Orchestra\, on the French horn\; Walt Boenig\, longtime Las Vega s musician and teacher on trombone\; and Dr. David Haile\, a current teach er at a local charter school on bass trombone.
