\nKristen Ciccarelli is a New York Times bestselling author whose books have been translated into over a dozen languages. Befor e writing stories for a living\, she dropped out of college and worked as a baker\, a potter\, \;a bookseller\, and an NGO \;worker. She liv es with her husband and toddler in the Niagara region of Ontario.
\nAbout Mark Morton:
\nMark Morton\, author of The He admasters and Cupboard Love: A Dictionary of Culinary Curiosities (nominat ed for a Julia Child Award)\, is also the author of three other nonfiction titles\, The End: Closing Words for a Millennium (winner of the Alexander Isbister Award for nonfiction)\; The Lover&rsquo\;s Tongue: A Merry Romp Through the Language of Love and Sex (republished in the UK as Dirty
\nWords)\, and Cooking with Shakespeare. He&rsquo\;s also written more th an 50 columns for Gastronomica: The Journal of Food and Culture (Universit y of California Press) and has written and broadcast more than a hundred c olumns about language and culture for CBC Radio. Mark has a PhD in sixteen th-century literature from the University of Toronto and has taught at sev eral universities in France and Canada. He currently works at the Universi ty of Waterloo. He and his wife\, Melanie Cameron (also an author)\, have four children\, four dogs\, one rabbit\, and no time.
