 iction selection for All Alexandria Reads 2024 is <em>Brave the Wild River
 \,</em> which tells the story of pioneering women botanists.&nbsp\; Join w
 ith local Virginia Master Naturalists (ARMN Chapter) for a local expeditio
 n to learn about some of the trees in Old Town Alexandria.&nbsp\; The tree
  walk will begin and end at the Barrett Branch Library\, and the route wil
 l take us by Alexandria&rsquo\;s famous &ldquo\;Spite House&rdquo\; and hi
 storic Christ Church.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Master Naturalist volunteer gu
 ides will focus on the native trees found on the route and will explain th
 e benefits these trees provide to the City of Alexandria.&nbsp\; They will
  also offer tips on how to identify different species of trees.&nbsp\; The
  route will be on Old Town Alexandria sidewalks\, so be prepared to walk o
 n uneven surfaces. Registration is required and space is limited.</p>\n<p>
 The walk will take place on Saturday April 13 from 3-4:30 weather permitti
 ng.&nbsp\; (The rain date will be Sunday April 14 from 3-4:30.)&nbsp\; Ple
 ase meet in front of the library building at 717 Queen Street\, Alexandria
 \, Virginia.&nbsp\; Attendance is limited so please register.</p>\n<p>For
