 squo\; experience as a senior pastor and has served as campus minister at 
 two universities in Ohio. Dr. Byrd served as Professor emeritus\, formerly
  served as the Director of Evening Ministries Program at Palm Beach Atlant
 ic University. He has served as workshop facilitator for the Cultural Sens
 itivity Seminar in Jacksonville\, Florida\, and was a member of the strate
 gic planning committee meeting for the African-American church division of
  the Florida Baptist Convention. He is 2012-2013 president of the African 
 American Caucus of the Academy of Homiletics of North America.&nbsp\;</p>\
