Enjoy free food samples\, cultural program ming performances\, a virtual reality exhibit\, and artwork from the Carib bean. Event admittance and food samples are free. Food samples will repres ent cuisine from Jamaica\, the Dominican Republic\, Haiti\, and Trinidad-T obago. Cultural performances will be facilitated from 1:00-2:00 pm and per formed by Bandan Inc. A Salsa dance lesson will be taught by acclaimed ins tructor Danny Carter of Dannydancemoves. The lesson starts at 3:00 pm. The Island Space Museum will also set up a historical display of famous perso nalities of the Caribbean and the Main Library's Creation Station will hav e a virtual reality exhibits of land/sea scapes of the Caribbean.
\nPlease register for the cultural programming\, since seating is limited. P lease note in case the parking lot is full (in front of the library) extra parking is available in the big lot next to the Lauderhill Performing Art s Center (LPAC). This big parking lot can be accessed from Sunrise Blvd or US 441/SR 7 entrances. Go around the traffic circle and enter the lot ent rance marked with the sign stating "Lauderhill Performing Arts Center Park ing."
