Like all of us\, long-time Chicago Symphon y Orchestra violinist Baird Dodge struggled to adjust to the pandemic shut down. In the spring\, whenever the temperature nosed above 60 degrees\, he played for his Chicago neighbors\, socially distanced on their fire escap es\, and as spring turned to summer\, he performed at rallies for racial j ustice.
