 a book about the surprising ways that playfulness influences adulthood. He
  is also coauthor of&nbsp\;<em>Unplug and Play: The Ultimate Illustrated G
 uide to Roughhousing with Your Kids</em>&nbsp\;(Quirk Books\, 2023) and&nb
 sp\;<em>The Art of Roughhousing: Good Old-Fashioned Horseplay and Why Ever
 y Kid Needs It</em>&nbsp\;(Quirk Books\, 2011)\, parenting books about the
  importance of parent&ndash\;child physical play.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>De
 Benedet has a Bachelor of Science Degree in&nbsp\;Biomedical Engineering f
 rom the Duke University Pratt School of Engineering\, a Master of Science 
 Degree in Health and Healthcare Research from the University of Michigan R
 ackham Graduate School\, and a Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Universi
 ty of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine resi
 dency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Michigan Health
  System.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>DeBenedet lives in Ann Arbor\, Michigan\, w
 here he enjoys spending time with his family\, connecting with friends\, a
