Indie Lens Pop-Up\, presented by ITVS\, IN DEPENDENT LENS\, and Fayetteville Public Library will host a screening of Matter of Mind: My Parkinson&rsquo\;s. From award-winning co-dire ctors Anna Moot-Levin and Laura Green\, the intimate documentary follows t hree individuals as they manage symptoms and treatments\, along the way to living fulfilling lives. Each is a tale of determination where\, through ingenuity and adaptation\, they offer insight into what it means to live w ith a degenerative illness.
\nTrainers and boxers from Rock Steady B oxing NWA will speak with the audience after the film. Rock Steady offers boxing classes for patients with all levels of Parkinson's Disease as a wa y for them to enhance their daily quality of life by increasing power\, st rength\, flexibility\, and speed in movement. The boxing exercises work by moving the body in all planes of motion while continuously changing the r outine as the patient progresses through the workout. \;
