  research skills in her latest book\, <em>'Strange and Unsung All-Stars of

  and raised in the Bronx (NY)\, Chris Sotomayor has the reputation of bein

 s throughout the industry. His decades-long career also includes owning an
 d operating an illustration studio which provides significant work for var
 ious consumer products\, video games\, children&rsquo\;s books\, magazine 
 illustrations\, and toy packaging &amp\; design.</p>\n<p>Chris also teache
 s the premier online art course on color and painting for Comics Experienc
 e\, and runs an unofficial mentoring program in which he gives back to the
  creative community\, helping many aspiring artists navigate the business
