 on of this interesting and surprisingly relevant exhibition on Dorothea La
 nge&rsquo\;s photography with a special focus on its relationship to langu
 age &ndash\; writing found in the environment\, but also captions or descr
 iptions added in various publications\, to &ldquo\;extend\, buttress\, ill
 uminate\, and explain the photograph&rdquo\;.&nbsp\; After an early career
  as portrait photographer Lange dedicated her life to documenting life dur
 ing the Great Depression\, travelling through the country for the Farm Sec
 urity Administration to capture the lives of impoverished share croppers\,
  documenting life inside the Japanese Incarceration Camps\, in booming coa
 st towns during WWII&hellip\; She very carefully composed her thought prov
 oking images while always dedicated to being truthful. So many of her imag
 es have become iconic\, most famously the Migrant Mother.</p>\n<p>Presente
