Join Porchlight Counselling and Addiction Services for another event in our Conversation for Community Care series\, this time on the experiences of late diagnosed ADHD women. In a world whe re the news is asking\, "why are so many people are now being diagnosed wi th ADHD?"\, finding the right resources can be a challenge for late diagno sed ADHD women. The stigma they face is very real\, and there is very litt le support in our public medical system.
\nThis panel will feature s peakers from organizations who provide services and resources for later di agnosed ADHD individuals\, as well as individuals who have the lived exper ience of learning that they have ADHD as an adult. Together\, they will di scuss what ADHD looks like into adulthood\, what support is available in o ur community\, and how to figure out your next steps if you aren't sure wh ere to start. This event is free but attendees are encouraged \;to reg ister in advance.
