The Ozobot Evo is a line-following mini ro bot that you can program in one of two ways: 1)by using colored markers\, or 2) by utilizing block coding from a computer.
\nIn this program y ou will be introduced to the hardware and robotic components of the Ozobot Evo. You will learn the basics of operating the Ozobot Evo including turn ing it on/off\, and calibrating it\, and then venture into using color cod es to program your robot. We will then create an imaginative zoo exhibit a nd then use the line following Ozobots to navigate your zoo and visit anim als. Program limited to 8 participants. \;
\nThis program was de signed for 2nd grade through 8th grade\, but younger children may attend i f an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger m ust be directly supervised by a responsible parent\, guardian\, or caregiv er while in the Maker Lab. Supervising adults do not need to register for the program. \;
\nSpace is limited: register in advance to reser ve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins.
