The Ozobot Evo is a line-following mini ro bot that you can program in one of two ways: 1)by using colored markers\, or 2) by utilizing block coding from a computer.

In this program y ou will be introduced to the hardware and robotic components of the Ozobot Evo. You will learn the basics of operating the Ozobot Evo including turn ing it on/off\, and calibrating it\, and then venture into using color cod es to program your robot. We will then create an imaginative zoo exhibit a nd then use the line following Ozobots to navigate your zoo and visit anim als. Program limited to 8 participants. \;

This program was de signed for 2nd grade to 8th grade\, but younger children may attend if an adult is present to assist them. Children in sixth grade or younger must b e directly supervised by a responsible parent\, guardian\, or caregiver wh ile in the Maker Lab. Supervising adults do not need to register for the p rogram. \;
