 ction with the Accokeek Foundation</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Choose a date and locat
 ion that works for you. Institute is free with lunch&nbsp\;included\, but 
 you must register in advance.</p>\n<h2><strong>Each institute will feature
 :</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands on experience with a new website providin
 g in-depth searchable access to the history of Black\, Indigenous\, and ot
 her People of Color across Southern Maryland.&nbsp\; Geared to MSDE teachi
 ng standards.&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Learning about local Southern Maryland hist
 ory and sign posts from local historian and archaeologist Dr. Julie King.<
 /li>\n<li>An Expo of local institutions providing a wealth of information 
 on the history and opportunities for field trips and classroom presentatio
 ns.</li>\n<li>MSDE CPD credit!</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This institute will include
  time to appreciate the resources at St. Mary&rsquo\;s college and explore
  the offerings of Historic St. Mary's City.</p>\n<p>The institutes are bro
 ught to you by the <a href="https://calvertlibrary.info/research-learn/sou
 thern-maryland-equity-in-history-coalition/">Southern Maryland Equity in H
 istory Coalition</a> which includes the active participation and support o
 f the Calvert\, Charles\, and St. Mary&rsquo\;s Public School Systems.&nbs
