 e of the Plant Clinics staffed by Montgomery County Master Gardeners\, hel
 d on the 2nd Tuesday and 4th Friday of each month from April through Octob
 er at Marilyn Praisner Library. These volunteers have had training in soil
  and plant science\, tree and shrub identification\, integrated pest manag
 ement\, plant diseases and insect pests.</p>\n<p>Master Gardeners can help
  you to:</p>\n<p>- Select the right plants and trees for your site.<br />-
  Decide when and how to test your soil.<br />- Feed your turf without feed
 ing the Chesapeake Bay.<br />- Identify weeds\, insects and disease.<br />
 - Avoid blanket use of herbicides and pesticides.<br />- Identify and avoi
 d killing beneficial insects.<br />- Learn how and when to prune your tree
 s and shrubs.<br />- Chose the right mulch for your garden.<br />- Read se
 ed catalogues.<br />- Develop strategies to deal with deer.</p>\n<p>Take a
