Dave Odd of Odd Produce asserts his capability to recognize over 1\,000 ed ible and medicinal plants along with up to 250 species of mushrooms. He as sures us that we'll encounter at least 50 edible plants on our walk at Fox Bluff Conservation Area. Particip ants will familiarize themselves with plant characteristics like leaf shap e\, arrangement\, and reproductive parts (cones\, seeds\, fruits\, flowers ) and learn how to differentiate between edible and toxic plants. There wi ll be no plant sampling\, just identification. Everyone has to stay on the trail and follow the park rules. \;
