\nSpeaker Bio: Megan Wells began her career as an actress a nd director in Chicago. She also worked as a communication consultant to F ortune 500 companies. A lover of words\, Megan helped executives craft pre sentations with great care for the structure\, rhetoric\, and dynamic of w ords carried from mouth to ear.
\nAfter a workshop\, an enthusiastic client said\, "You should tell stories\," and suggested a trip to the Nat ional Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough\, Tennessee. There\, Megan dis covered the art of storytelling. After sharing a personal story at the ope n mic\, Megan was approached by the MC\, Rafe Martin. A featured teller at the festival\, Rafe asked\, "Are you a storyteller?" Megan replied\, "I d on't even know what that is!" Rafe replied\, "You are."
\nAt the end of the weekend\, Megan found Rafe and asked\, "What do I do to become a s toryteller?" Rafe advised\, "Find stories you love and tell them."
