Elizabeth (Beth) Adams is an artist\, writ er\, editor\, and publisher. She grew up in
\nSherburne\, New York\, received her B.A. from Cornell University in 1974 and worked
\nin t he summers and after graduation at the Rogers Environmental Education Cent er
\nas a naturalist\, artist\, and exhibit designer. She spent 35 y ears in Vermont as a graphic
\ndesigner and communications specialis t before moving to Montreal in 2005 and
\nbecoming a dual Canadian-A merican citizen. She and her husband\, the photograâ€
\npher Jo nathan Sa&rsquo\;adah\, now spends time at the family home in Hamilton\, N Y.
\nHer biography of Bishop Gene Robinson\, Going to Heaven\, was p ublished in 2006\,
\nand her essays have appeared in many publicatio ns. She has illustrated\, edited\, and
\ndesigned numerous books\, a nd her artwork is in private collections worldwide. She
\nwas a foun der/co-managing editor of the e-zine qarrtsiluni\, and is the founder/
\neditor of the independent press Phoenicia Publishing in Montreal. Sin ce 2003\, she
\nhas written a blog\, &ldquo\;The Cassandra Pages&rdq uo\;\, which is about the arts\, books\, nature\,
\nand the human sp irit. She has always wanted to write and illustrate a book about
\nC henango and Madison Counties\, which she considers to be one of the most\n
beautiful landscapes anywhere\, and where the people and the place were central
\nto the development of her life\, work\, and values - Snowy Fields is that book.
