 n<p>Richard Beland is a music photographer with an extensive body of work\
 , which dates back to 1993 and includes live performance photographs as we
 ll as studio portraits\, celebrates popular music's depth and eclectic bre
 adth. From photographs of Coldplay to those of The Tragically Hip\, Richar
 d Beland's images of international stars and Canadian icons reveal his pas
 sion for his craft\, his keen sense of composition\, and his steadfast com
 mitment to detail.</p>\n<p>Over the years\, Beland&rsquo\;s photographic c
 ontributions have been recognized with numerous awards and nominations\, i
 ncluding a Juno Award nomination in 2004 for Album Design of the Year on G
 ord Downie&rsquo\;s album\, Battle of the Nudes. Beland has also received 
 the distinction of a Canadian Country Music Award for his work in Jason Mc
 Coy&rsquo\;s Greatest Hits CD\, and a Canadian Country Music Award nominat
 ion for his photographs within Johnny Reid&rsquo\;s album Kickin&rsquo\; S
 tones. Beland&rsquo\;s photographs have also made appearances in well-know
 n publications\, including Rolling Stone\, SPIN\, Mojo\, Kerrang!\, People
