Participants will create a sculptural ratt le and a functional spoonrest/plate using the handbuilding techniques of p inch\, coil\, and slab\; then they will glaze their finished works. No exp erience necessary\; all materials provided.

Sarah Hazelke is a vis ual artist working primarily in clay and illustration. Sarah's studio\, Ro und Clay Studio &\; Designs is located in Chatham\, NY where she teache s classes and makes her \;own work. A lifelong artist\, Sarah learned about clay through an apprenticeship to a potter at 13 years old and has c ontinued to grow and build a love of all things clay in the decades since.
