 fades. Filled with heart-breaking sacrifices\, struggles and secrets that 
 shape her identity\, <em>The Loyal Daughter</em> stands testament to a wom
 an&rsquo\;s true resilience.</p>\n<h5>About the Presenter</h5>\n<p>As a te
 enager\, Nancy Lam read and lost herself in stories by Canadian writers. I
 n university she majored in Canadian History earning a Bachelor of Arts de
 gree followed by a degree in law. As an immigration lawyer she helps prosp
 ective Canadians write and present their life stories to government offici
 als. <em>The Loyal Daughter</em> was published in the fall of 2022\, and i
 s based on her mother&rsquo\;s immigration story to Canada.</p>\n<p>A Diff
