 p>\n<p><strong>About the presenter:</strong></p>\n<p>Dr. Matthew Raider re
 ceived his M.D. with honors from the University of Michigan Medical School
  in 1979. He had a clinical practice for 42 years during which time he was
  the medical director of several health care facilities in central CT. Dr.
  Raider has been active in teaching geriatric medicine and has helped coor
 dinate the geriatrics curriculum for medical residents at Middlesex Hospit
 al in CT. He still is actively involved in teaching residents\, medical st
 udents\, and nurse practitioners. Dr. Raider has had a long interest in me
 ditation going back over 50 years. He is also a contributing author to <em
 >Meditation as Medication for the Soul</em>&nbsp\;by Rajinder Singh. Dr. R
 aider has a particular interest in the health benefits of meditation and h
 e has lectured extensively in hospitals and libraries in the U.S. and Cana
