 omething new if you can fix what you already have? The Repair Caf&eacute\;
  "fixers' are sharing a variety of skills to help you fix common household
  items. Refer to the list of items that includes what you can and cannot b
 ring. Participants\, please review the <a href="https://www.canadahelps.or
 g/en/charities/LGBarrie/events/repair-cafe-2/" target="_blank" rel="noopen
 er">House Rules</a>.</p>\n<hr />\n<p><strong>House Rules</strong></p>\n<ul
 >\n<li>Maximum 1-item for repair. If you bring other items you will only b
 e able to have them fixed if you stand in line and there are open appointm
 ents.</li>\n<li>Appointments are a maximum of 20-minutes.</li>\n<li>The wo
 rk carried out in the Repair Caf&eacute\; is performed free of charge on a
  voluntary basis by the repair experts at hand.</li>\n<li>Visitors carry o
 ut the repairs themselves whenever possible\, but repair experts on site c
 an help if necessary.</li>\n<li>The fact that the repairs are being perfor
 med by unpaid volunteers reflects the allocation of risks and limitation o
 f liability: neither the organizers of the Repair Caf&eacute\; nor the rep
 air experts are liable for any loss that may result from advice or instruc
 tions concerning repairs\, for the loss of items handed over for repair\, 
 for indirect or consequential loss or for any other kind of loss resulting
  from work performed in the Repair Caf&eacute\;. The limitations set forth
  in these house rules shall not apply to claims declared justified on the 
 basis of liability arising by virtue of applicable consumer protection leg
 islation which cannot be lawfully superseded.&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>We may not 
 have all the tools\, supplies and resources to repair your item.</li>\n<li
 >Visitors offering broken items for repair do so at their own risk.&nbsp\;
 &nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Experts making repairs offer no guarantee for the repair
 s carried out with their help and are not liable if objects that are repai
 red in the Repair Caf&eacute\; turn out not to work properly at home.&nbsp
 \;&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Repair experts are entitled to refuse to repair certai
 n objects.</li>\n<li>Repair experts are not obliged to reassemble disassem
 bled appliances that cannot be repaired.</li>\n<li>Visitors to Repair Caf&
 eacute\; are solely responsible for the tidy removal of broken objects tha

 al (<em>subject to review\, please Register for consideration</em>)\, refr
 igeration equipment\, gas-powered equipment\, items from other countries w
