 melting temperatures. Ever wonder why we use salt in the winter time? Have
  you ever wondered if other items at home could work? Come join local scie
 ntists and learn how to fish for ice using only string and household spice
 s!&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>A demonstration AND active hands-on experiment will be p
 rovided for attendees. Participants will be provided with worksheets to ta
 ke home and instructions on how to do this experiment at home.</p>\n<p>Thi
 s program is intended for kids ages 9-18\, and 6-8 with an adult.</p>\n<p>
 When kids and teens read 15 days each month between June and August\, they
  earn a prize! <a href="https://spokanelibrary.beanstack.org/reader365">Si
 gn up for the Summer Reading Club challenge on Beanstack</a>!</p>\n<p>By a
