\nJoselyn Takacs holds a PhD in Creative Writing and Literature from th e University of Southern California and an MFA in Fiction from Johns Hopki ns University. Her fiction has appeared in Gulf Coast\, Narra tive\, Tin House online\, Harvard Review\, The Rumpus\, DIAGRAM\, Columbia: A Journal of Art and Litera ture\, and elsewhere. She has published interviews and book reviews i n The Los Angeles Review of Books and Entropy. She was f eatured as one of Narrative magazine&rsquo\;s Top Writers Under 3 0. She has taught writing at the University of Southern California and Joh ns Hopkins University. She lived in New Orleans at the time of \;the s pill\, and in 2015\, received a grant to record the oral histories of Loui siana oyster farmers in the wake of the environmental disaster.
