In this workshop\, you'll learn manga and traditional comic techniques\, from basic character design and development to narrative tricks and panel structure. You'll leave with drafts of stor ylines and characters that you can continue to develop on your own\, as we ll as a stronger sense of inking\, composition\, and other illustration te chniques. If you have dreams of creating your own comic or self-publishing \, we'll also talk about tips for how to start that journey.
\nAbout the Instructor: Carl Lucas is a cartoonist and graphic artist residing in Columbus Ohio\, with years of experience teaching comic related workshops to help students write\, draw and develop their own characters. Carl is a lso the author of self published works like Shogun Bear: In The House Of Horrors and Final Arctic Fantasy and has created officially licens ed t-shirts and merchandise for Dune and Scott Pilgrim.< /p>\n
