\nAllis on Pitinii Davis is the author of "Line Study of a Motel Clerk" (Baobab Pr ess\, 2017)\, a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award and the Ohioan a Book Award. Her work has appeared in or is forthcoming from Best America n Poetry\, the Academy of American Poets Poem-A-Day Series\, The New Repub lic\, The Oxford American\, and elsewhere. She received fellowships from S tanford University's Wallace Stegner program\, the Fine Arts Work Center i n Provincetown\, and the Severinghaus Beck Fund for Study at Vilnius Yiddi sh Institute. She holds a PhD in Literature and Creative Writing.
