 , and book reviewer. In January 2024\, he was appointed the CEO of The Pri
 nce George&rsquo\;s County Memorial Library System in Largo\, Maryland. He
  has spent most of his career in library management and university faculty
  positions\, including holding the positions of librarian\, public library
  director\, university library director\, assistant chancellor for academi
 c affairs\, engagement officer\, development officer\, and full-time facul
 ty member. He has also served as a management consultant and trainer and d
 iversity consultant and trainer\, working with a range of academic\, corpo

 n various aspects of leadership in libraries\, access to information\, eco
 nomic inequality\, and public policy\, have included three books and more 
 than forty authored or co-authored research journal articles and book chap
 ters. He has been the recipient of numerous awards for his research\, incl
 uding the American Library Association National Award for Achievement in L
 ibrary Diversity Research\, the Literati Network Award of Excellence for a
  &ldquo\;Highly Commended Paper&rdquo\; entitled &ldquo\;Leadership in Tim
 es of Crisis and Change\,&rdquo\; and the Reference Services Press Award f
 or Outstanding Article for &ldquo\;Reference and Information Services for 
 Young Adults: A Research Study of Public Libraries in New Jersey.&rdquo\; 
 He writes a column entitled Diversity Matters for the Journal of Informati
 on Ethics. He has served on the editorial boards of a number of scholarly 
 journals and held numerous leadership roles nationally in the library prof
 ession\, including in the American Library Association. His undergraduate 
 degree in Business Management is from Hampton University and his master&rs
 quo\;s degree in library science and PhD in library and information scienc
 e are from the University of Pittsburgh.</p>\n<p style="text-align: center
