Melissa Foste r blends insights from diverse social and natural sciences to tackle press ing real-world inquiries. With a passion for both teaching and research\, she explores the intersection of media and societal impact\, delving into questions about leveraging media to enhance public health engagement and f ostering informed citizenship. She earned a PhD and MA in Health Communica tion from The Ohio State University\, complemented by degrees in Experimen tal Psychology from Western Kentucky University and Alfred University.
