 udaism and it's contributions to our society. From ancient Mesopotamia to 
 modern day Canada\, these values are the bedrock of a sustainable civiliza
 tion. Rabbi Mendel Nakkar\, is the Rabbi of the Chabad Jewish Centre of Ba
 rrie. He was born and raised in Toronto.</p>\n<p>He studied in Yeshivah To
 mchei Temimim Brunoy\, France for his high school years. He furthered his 
 studies in educational institutions in Canada\, France\, Germany\, and the
  USA. He received his rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Zalman Labkowsky in 2
 010\, from the Tomchai Temimim United Lubavitcher Yeshiva in New York.</p>
 \n<p>He volunteered for the Jewish community in various capacities through
 out the years\, including outreach activities\, conducting Shabbatons and 
 Holiday events for youth. For several years\, he volunteered as a teacher 
 in a program that brings Judaism to children attending public school and p
 rovided private tutoring sessions for boys preparing for their Bar Mitzvah
 . At his own initiative he established the &lsquo\;Jewish Teens Zone&rsquo
 \;\, a teen camp that offers the ultimate fun experience in a Jewish envir
