After r eceiving a bicycle\, kids will learn about safety in our Mini City obstacl e course\, decorate their bikes\, and join us \; toward the end of the event for a Bicycle Parade group ride (11AM)! This is a placemaking event for all ages in Southwest Little Rock with health and lifestyle vendors f rom the community. Cyclists are encourage to join on the group ride at Dee Brown Library at 11AM.
\nNew helmets will be distributed courtesy o f Arkansas Children's Hospital Safety Office.
\n* \;Bikes for first 100 kid s are are first come\, first served. The child receiving a bike must be pr esent with an adult. If they cannot make it to our event\, Recycl ed Bikes for Kids can set up appointments at their location anytime of the year for a free bike for Kids 15 and under by email recyclebikesforkids@gmail.com \;or on th eir website \;https://w ww.recyclebikesforkids.org/. Patrons ages 16 and over (Adults) can par ticipate in their 'Earn a Bike' program by volunteering their time to Recy cle Bikes for Kids.
