The intention of this class is to bring us together as a community. We will start by learning a few styles of breath work that we will be practicing during the main exercise. After we feel co mfortable with these styles of breathing\, we will move into a guided medi tation to get us in a relaxed mindset. Once this is accomplished the music will start and together\, we will engage in our active breathing exercise .
\nThe class will be led by Fayetteville resident Adam Ellzey. Over the years Adam has had the privilege of attending many different breathwo rk workshops and benefiting tremendously from these experiences. He is eag er to bring a group together to have the opportunity to share all that has been learned. As a group\, we will engage in an active breathing exercise focusing on deep\, intentional breaths to promote relaxation\, release te nsion\, enhance mindfulness and self-discovery. Participants often experie nce a sense of deep relaxation\, emotional release\, and inner peace as th ey explore the transformative power of breath together in a supportive com munity setting.
\nYoga mat\, blanket\, small pillow\, water bottle\, and any other comfort items are recommended to bring but not necessary. M ats and blankets will be available if needed. All abilities are welcome to participate.
