 ernment's central planning agency for the National Capital Region. Its mis
 sion is to preserve and enhance the region&rsquo\;s extraordinary historic

 eds of the federal government and enrich the lives of visitors\, workers\,
  and residents.</p>\n<p>Join us for the launch of the exhibit\,&nbsp\;<em>
 Planning Washington: Capital and Community</em>\, and a probing panel conv
 ersation on the agency&rsquo\;s role in shaping Washington and how the les
 sons of our past can inform planning for a resilient and equitable region.
