We&rsquo\;ll make new friends and explore everything from letters and numbers to turn-taking and getting dressed for recess to help you feel ready for your new adventures in kindergarten. Pl ease note parents/caregivers will be part of the learning process\, but th ere may be times we ask parents/caregivers to leave the room for a short p eriod of time to help children begin to transition to a classroom setting. This program is intended for children born in 2019 or 2020\, who are ente ring kindergarten in September 2024.
\nThis program is part of a ser ies. There are \;4 \;sessions taking place on Wednesdays: July 24\ , 31\, August\, 7\, 14.
\nEarly Learning Programs for young children at WPL are based on literacy research and include tips and information fo r parents and caregivers. Your active participation in these programs will maximize the experience for you and your child.
\nTransitio n to Kindergarten is offered multiple times through the summer\, and each child is eligible to register for one Transition to Kindergarten program s eries. We also kindly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program&rsquo\;s specified age requir ements.
