  presented by the Central Arkansas Library System hosts approximately 50 a
 uthors for free panel discussions\, readings\, book signings\, and other f
 un and enriching programs. In addition to offering an opportunity for thou
 sands of readers to meet some of their favorite authors\, the festival sen
 ds many of the presenters into local schools to inspire our next generatio
 n of readers and writers.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>On September 29\, 2024\, Ann Patc
 hett\, the best-selling novelist and author of essays and children&rsquo\;
 s books\, will be joined by Robin Preiss Glasser\, illustrator of the Fanc
 y Nancy series\, for a conversation about creativity and collaboration.&nb
 sp\;<em>The Verts: A Story of Introverts and Extroverts</em>\,&nbsp\;writt
 en by Patchett and illustrated by Glasser\, will be published on September
  17.</p>\n<p>This ticketed event will raise critical funding so the festiv
 al can continue providing free public events to the Central Arkansas commu
 nity. Festive drinks and bites will be included in the ticket price\, and 
 Patchett and Glasser will be available to sign books. We are grateful to A
 nn Patchett and Robin Preiss Glasser for donating their time so that all p
 roceeds raised from this event will directly support festival programming.
