e Rome Crain uses color in non-traditional ways in her oil paintings. This
creative use of color challenges the conventions of realism and also give
s her&nbsp\;paintings a sense of wonder. She often uses watercolor to expl
ore composition and color before starting her oil paintings. In this works
hop\, Jaime will teach the basics of color theory and allow participants t
o experiment with interesting color combinations. The placement of adjacen
t colors can completely change the mood of a piece\, and in this&nbsp\;wor
kshop\, Jaime will share some of the tools she uses to&nbsp\;achieve this.
