\nAstronomy is the s tudy of everything in the universe beyond Earth&rsquo\;s atmosphere. That includes objects we can see with our naked eyes like the \;Sun\, the&n bsp\;Moon\, the planets\, and the \;stars. It also includes objects we can only see with telescopes or other instruments like faraway \;gala xies \;and tiny particles. \;UNF's Astronomy club was created in 2012. \;The cl ub hosts many events\, including monthly Astronomy Night sessions to enjoy viewing and learning about the wonders of the night sky. These free and o pen-to-the-public sessions are great for families. The department also has various telescopes of different types and sizes available for observation . \;
