 stive Technology by Hacking into a Toy and re-wiring it to make it Switch 
 Accessible.&nbsp\; The best part is every Toy we Hack will be donated to t
 he community after we&rsquo\;re done.</p>\n<p>According to Statistics Cana
 da\, 80% of people living with a disability use an assistive device to inc
 rease their independence\, and 27% need at least one more. Cost is often c
 ited as the main barrier.</p>\n<p>Our guiding vision at Neil Squire is to 
 achieve economic and social inclusiveness for all people with disabilities
 . To support this vision\,&nbsp\;<a href="https://www.makersmakingchange.c
 om/s/">Makers Making Change&nbsp\;</a>leverages the capacity of community 
 based Makers\, Disability Professionals and Volunteers to develop and deli
 ver affordable Open Source Assistive Technologies.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>M
 akers Making Change supports STEM education through an assistive technolog
 y lens. Our workshops encourage students to tackle real-world challenges a
 s Maker Volunteers and to empathize with people with disabilities.&nbsp\;
