ic we love and how that music impacts the world around us on daily.
\n<
p>The workshops are lead by William&nbsp\;Jackson who is a local rapper wi
th a passion for hiphop culture and art in all forms. Born and raised in L
exington Ky\, William's main focus is making music and and positively infl
uence young local artist.
\n
For ages 12-17. Attendance to all sessio

/p>\n
Mon July 1st - Mental health
\n
Each student
picks their favorite artist and a song they feel best represents that art
ist. Looking at how that song relates to that artist&rsquo\;s mental healt
h. Look at the emotions their music is best known for. What does it make y
ou feel? Why do you think they feel that way?
\n
Mon July 8th
 - Culture/Background
\n
Discuss early life and where they c
ome from. Touch on what the music sounds like there and how that shows up
in their music. If that influence shows up as much in their early music as
much as it does now. Take a look at what artists across genres all seem t
o have in common and their differences. Look at what they think sparks an
artist. What did your artist grow up like? How much is your background lik
e your favorite artist?
\n
Mon July 15th World impact
\n
We look at how all those factors we discussed the previous weeks
 are expressed to the world.
\n
How do people feel about this artist?
What is their image? How do your parents feel about this artist versus ho
w do you feel about them? Look at memes about that artist. Would you like
them in real life? We will look up at how their music / image affects thei
r world impact by looking at other representations of their music from vid
eos to movie cameos. How does your artist&rsquo\;s music change / affect t
he world? Is it the same effect/ change you want to have on the world?
