ltIndex">A Convenient Villain: Charles A. Lindbergh's remarkable and contr
oversial legacy preparing the U.S. for war</a>" with author Jonathan D. Re
 ich\, MD\, M Sc\, Faculty Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.</p>\n<p>Charle
s Lindbergh is one of the most influential and controversial American publ
ic figures of the 20th Century.&nbsp\; He may be the only American who was
a public hero\, victim\, and villain within the span of 15 years. Jonatha
n Reich is a former aerospace engineer who became intrigued with Lindbergh
's actions between 1935-1955.&nbsp\; Because only historians have written
about Lindbergh\, there is traditionally a fundamental lack of appreciatio
n\, bordering on dishonesty\, regarding the contributions he made to Ameri
ca's national security. Combining his aerospace engineering background and
years of research\, including combing through archives\, Dr. Reich docume
nted these contributions and presented them to the reader.</p>\n<p>He also
reviewed every speech\, radio address\, and the congressional testimony t
hat Lindbergh gave between 1939 and 1941 and how it was reported. This is
crucial to understand his position and how it led to a conflict with Ameri
can Jews. The lessons learned regarding anti-Semitism have never been more
important.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>More information and book reviews availa
