 for social change.</p>\n<p>]In this master class\, co-hosted by the librar
 y and the Arkansas Justice Reform Coalition and taught by local artist Che
 anie Noai\, participants will delve into the rich history of public art as
  a tool for liberation and activism\, discovering how artists have histori
 cally influenced societal movements. In this hands-on session\, attendees 
 will create their own powerful piece of protest art\, designed to provoke 
 thought and spark dialogue on current issues. Each participant will leave 
 with a printed artwork\, empowered to amplify their voice and contribute t
 o our community's ongoing discourse. Don't miss this opportunity to unleas

 <strong>About the Artist:</strong><br />Cheanie is an Indigenous Kaqchikel
  Maya multi-disciplinary creative\, using her creations to witness truth a
 nd nurture healing. Splitting her time between Arkansas and her native Gua
 temala\, Cheanie has dedicated the past 12 years to grassroots community o
 rganizing\, focusing on Migrant Rights\, Queer Liberation\, Child Advocacy
 \, and Climate Justice. Her work has been featured in publications such as
  Bitch Magazine\, CultureStrike\, and Yes! Magazine. Cheanie resides on an
 d stewards a 100-acre conservation easement situated on the ancestral land
 s of the Caddo\, Osage\, and Quapaw peoples. Drawing on the wisdom and tra
 ditions of her lineage\, she remains committed to demanding universal free
 dom\, for all life on earth\, in all ways imaginable.</p>\n<p><strong>Abou
 t Arkansas Justice Reform Coalition:</strong><br />AJRC works to end mass 
 incarceration led by the voices of the families and individuals of those d
 irectly impacted. We envision a community that centers safety\, prevention
  of harm\, and alternatives to incarceration. We work towards this vision 
 through collaborative partnerships\, agitation of the system\, and encoura
 ging education and awareness on the ways mass incarceration impacts our st
 ate. We are committed to effective solutions and fostering strong coalitio
 ns with policymakers\, individuals\, and community organizations to eradic
 ate mass incarceration with the objective of fostering safer and more incl
 usive communities. We envision a world where incarceration is a rare occur
 rence\, and every individual is empowered to thrive in community.</p>\n<p>
