 p>Cindy Kindred resides in Salt Lake City. Her work is derivative of the A
 ustralian First Nation Aboriginal Art which she loves. Her hobbies include
  travel\, reading and sewing\, which she translated into her art during th
 e Pandemic. Cindy uses embroidery stitching to create fabric art pieces th
 at are inspired by Aboriginal Artist&rsquo\;s patterns and stories. &ldquo
 \;I was surprised that most Aboriginal First Nation art is acrylic paint o
 n bark or canvas. It seems so naturally to translate to fabric and colorfu
 l thread.&rdquo\; This is her second exhibit. All profits from sales are d
 onated to the Lockhart River Arts Indigenous Corporation\, a First Nation 
 Art Collective.</p>\n<p><strong>ARTIST BIO</strong></p>\n<p>Cindy Kindred 
 is a fundraising consultant. She was the founder and for eighteen years CE
 O of Vanguard Media Group\, an advertising agency with offices in Boise\, 
 Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. Ms. Kindred&rsquo\;s career has specialized 
 in &ldquo\;cause marketing.&rdquo\; Ms. Kindred developed the national awa
 rd-winning Baby your Baby and Check Your Health campaigns both of which ha
 ve been syndicated successfully in markets nationwide. Her company created
  the Slow the Flow\, Read with a Child\, Use Only as Directed and a myriad
  of other cause marketing campaigns.</p>\n<p>Cindy has served on many comm
 unity boards including the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce\, Salt Lake City 
 Library\, the Utah Museum of Fine Arts National Leadership Board\, Water f
 or People National Board\, the Utah Symphony\, the YWCA\, the Natural Hist
 ory Museum of Utah\, the Wasatch Homeless Health Clinic and is an active m
 ember of the International Women&rsquo\;s Forum. She has been honored for 
 her community and business leadership by the YWCA\, the Salt Lake Chamber\
 , and Utah Business Magazine and was recognized as a distinguished alum fr
 om her high school\, among others.</p>\n<p>Cindy has lived in Salt Lake Ci
 ty since 1982\, moving here with her family from San Francisco. Cindy grew
