We are excited to team up with Lindsey of Strictly Self Defense. Attendees will participate in a series of discussio ns and be introduced to basic physical self-defense skills and techniques. Training will focus on three key areas: Mindset\, Skill Set and Planning. Specific topics may include Situational Awareness\, Bystander Interventio n\, Consent\, Healthy Relationships\, Simple Effective Strikes\, How to Es cape Common Grabs\, and much more. In addition to learning simple self def ense techniques\, the self defense training will include age-appropriate d iscussion of self defense related topics that encourage attendees to make good decisions\, to speak up when something does not seem right and to use physical techniques only if there is a real threat. \;The purpose of the training is to empower the attendees through self defense training.
\nAll attendees must have a signed electronic waiver on file in order to participate. \; Attendees under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the waiver. \; Please complete the electronic waive r in advance of the event.
