Get out\, get active\, and enjoy all the b enefits that come from walking! This Just Walk session is led by \;Jes sica Lammers\, a physiotherapist from the Burlington Family Health Team. S he discusses the benefits of exercise for optimizing and maintaining your balance. Watch and learn as Jessica demonstrates different types of exerci se that are beneficial for maintaining your balance\, and offers informati on about the many balance programs across the city. After the presentation \, spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy \;walk with Jessica.< /p>\n
Please arrive 10 minutes before the walk. Meet us near the firepla ce at Tansley Woods Branch. We will then move to the outdoor space at Tans ley Woods\, facing the grassy field just in front of the library parking l ot (just south of Upper Middle).
\nWalking is a wonderful form of ph ysical activity and we encourage all levels of walking ability to particip ate in this event&mdash\;whether you complete the entire walk or join us f or part of the journey! Walking devices\, mobility aids\, and walking comp anions are welcome. All participants must sign a waiver\, which is provide d at the start of the walk.
