 press your own story through this ancient and tactile artistic medium.</p>
 \n<p>Mary Abma is a local\, science-based\, trans-disciplinary artist. Her
  laboratories range from her yard in suburbia to the streets and forests o
 f larger\, diverse communities. Through the lens of her work\, she offers 
 points of entry into the ecosystems that weave all living beings together 
 and sustain life. Through her work\, she acknowledges human destructivenes
 s and responds by translating the rhythms and patterns that she observes i
 n the so-called &ldquo\;natural world" into works that challenge the notio
 n of boundaries and separation. A qualified teacher\, Abma specializes in 
 facilitating community-engaged artworks.</p>\n<p>Each participant will cre
