 ies. He will discuss his latest books\,&nbsp\;The River We Remember&nbsp\;
 and&nbsp\;Spirit Crossing.&nbsp\; Copies of&nbsp\;The River We Remember\, 
 Spirit Crossing&nbsp\;and his other titles will be available for purchase 
 and signing at the event thanks to Read Between the Lynes bookstore of Woo
 dstock.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This author event is part of the&nbsp\;McHenry Coun
 ty Libraries - Let's All Read Together&nbsp\;community reading program. Co
 unty residents are encouraged to come together in a shared reading experie
 nce.&nbsp\; Krueger&rsquo\;s recent novel\,&nbsp\;The River We Remember&nb
 sp\;is a spellbinding mystery and a masterful portrait of mid-century Amer
 ican life. His latest book\,&nbsp\;Spirit Crossing\,&nbsp\;puts Cork O&rsq
 uo\;Connor&rsquo\;s family in the crosshairs of a killer (#&shy\;20 in thi
 s popular series.) Copies of the books are available to borrow from your l
 ocal library.&nbsp\; Libraries will host discussions of the books\, in adv
 ance of the author event.</p>\n<p>The author will be interviewed by Heidi 
 Stevens\, who wrote a daily column for the Chicago Tribune called "Balanci
 ng Act" for many years.&nbsp\; Heidi Stevens is the&nbsp\;Director of Exte
 rnal Affairs at the TMW Center for Early Learning + Public Health\, a tran
 slational research institute at the University of Chicago. She worked for 
 23 years as a writer and editor at the Chicago Tribune.</p>\n<p>This event
